My name is Mike H. from San Diego, California. A friend of mine was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Although the diagnose was recent, my friend became obviously ill very quickly and his symptoms worsened almost weekly. He was put on disability, "no questions asked". My friend is a hard worker, and has always taken pride in providing for his family, working two jobs and being a person of high work ethic. These recent events have been devastating for him. His doctors basically told him that he will never work again and he will be on heavy sedative and anti-psychotic drugs for the rest of his life (he is in his forties).
